\n\tSZA<\/a> has become the latest musician to blast the White House<\/a> for their use of her music in a pro-ICE<\/a> ad, calling their post \u201cevil and boring.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe White House posted a video <\/a>on X using SZA\u2019s \u201cBig Boys<\/a>,\u201d her song from an SNL<\/a> <\/em>sketch that aired in Dec. 2022 (SZA was the musical guest, while Keke Palmer served as host). While \u201cBig Boys\u201d is about how larger men can provide warmth in the winter, the White House took the line \u201cIt\u2019s cuffing season\u201d for immigration enforcement. \u201cWE HEARD IT\u2019S CUFFING SZN,\u201d the White House\u2019s ad reads, across footage of arrests. \u201cBad news for criminal illegal aliens. Great news for America.\u201d<\/p>\n SZA\u2019s former manager, Terrence \u201cPunch\u201d Henderson<\/a>, first addressed the post on X, writing<\/a>, \u201cTrying to provoke artist to respond in order to help spread propaganda and political agendas is nasty business. Knock it off.\u201d SZA then made her own comments: \u201cWhite House rage baiting artists for free promo is PEAK DARK ..inhumanity +shock and aw tactics ..Evil n Boring.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tSZA follows several musicians who have spoken out <\/a>about the Donald Trump administration\u2019s use of their music, particularly with ICE propaganda. Just last week, Sabrina Carpenter slammed <\/a>the White House\u2019s use of \u201cJuno\u201d in a social media video<\/a>\u00a0that featured ICE agents making arrests. \u201cThis video is evil and disgusting,\u201d she said. \u201cDo not ever involve me or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda.\u201d <\/p>\n
