Most Game<\/a> fans would agree that his Documentary<\/em>-era prime is behind him, but the man himself still believes he belongs on the throne of West Coast hip-hop.<\/p>\n Appearing on the latest episode of Shannon Sharpe\u2019s Club Shay Shay<\/em> podcast, the Compton native confidently asserted that he\u2019s the number one rapper repping the Left Coast today.<\/p>\n \u201cCan\u2019t nobody out-rap me, man,\u201d he declared. \u201cAnd anybody that knows will know. No one can do what I do. No one has my skillset. Not only do I have the ability to rap circles around people, I\u2019m also with all the bullshit too if it came down to that. I\u2019m the best rapper in this town.\u201d<\/p>\n After former NFL star Sharpe pushed back on The Game\u2019s statement and mentioned legends like Ice Cube<\/a> and Snoop Dogg<\/a>, the Aftermath alumnus doubled down.<\/p>\n \u201cI love Cube but Cube can\u2019t out-rap me,\u201d he claimed. \u201cAnd by the way, the reason that Cube can\u2019t out-rap me is because I used Cube\u2019s legacy to help me sharpen [my skills]. I used Snoop\u2019s legacy to help me sharpen myself. I used Dr. Dre<\/a> and N.W.A<\/a> \u2026 those guys came before me.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s like Kobe [watching] Mike growing up. In Kobe\u2019s prime, Mike couldn\u2019t hold Kobe. But that\u2019s because he came before him and he was done with it. Now, if I was in 1992 with Cube, Cube might be able to go crazy. But right now? Nah, there\u2019s not a rapper on the West that\u2019s better than me.\u201d<\/p>\n Asked if he sees himself as the best rapper from his hometown of Compton \u2014 a city that has also birthed the likes of Kendrick Lamar<\/a>, Eazy-E<\/a> and DJ Quik<\/a> \u2014 The Game replied: \u201cI\u2019m definitely the best rapper from Compton.
