Howard belts the track, and during a quiet moment, the audience fills the silence with cheers before they adopt a new groove for the rest of the track, which comes off the band\u2019s 2015 album, <em>Sound &amp; Color<\/em>. Various presales begin earlier in the week. The trio will donate a dollar of every ticket sold to its Alabama Shakes Fund, which distributes cash to nonprofits in need around the country.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe band reunited after a decade\u2019s hiatus earlier this year, when they also released their first new music in as many years, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/alabama-shakes-another-life-first-song-10-years-1235418296\/\">\u201cAnother Life.\u201d<\/a> After <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/alabama-shakes-surprise-reunion-first-show-since-2017-1235211436\/\">coming together for a benefit show<\/a> in December 2024, they kicked off a reunion tour in July.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cIt is crazy that it has been 10 years since we released <em>Sound &amp; Color<\/em> and eight years since we played a show,\u201d Howard said in a statement at the time. \u201cBut we didn\u2019t want this to entirely be a look back. We wanted it to be as much about the future as the past. So we have a bunch of new music that will be released soon.
