Abraham Quintanilla Jr. died on the morning of Dec. 13, according to his son. No cause of death was immediately available.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tAbraham \u201cA.B.\u201d Quintanilla III, Selena\u2019s older brother and producer, revealed the news of their father\u2019s passing in a post on Instagram. He went on to mold his children \u2014 Selena, A.B., and their sister Suzette Quintanilla\u00a0\u2014 into a new lineup known as Selena y Los Dinos. By the early 1990s, Quintanilla Jr. was helping guide his youngest daughter\u2019s historic leap from a popular Tejano singer in their home state of Texas to a worldwide pop sensation with hits that included \u201cComo la Flor,\u201d \u201cAmor Prohibido,\u201d and \u201cBidi Bidi Bom Bom.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tFollowing Selena\u2019s murder by a fan and employee named Yolanda Sald\u00edvar in 1995, Quintanilla Jr. continued to manage her estate and posthumous affairs. Quintanilla Jr. later passed those duties to Suzette around 2016.
