Fans who were shut out can purchase tickets to a live rehearsal show at City Winery on March 11, where select artists from the show will be previewing their performances. At both shows, they\u2019ll be joined by saxophonist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/mark-rivera-saxophonist-interview-billy-joel-ringo-starr-1062542\/\">Mark Rivera<\/a>, percussionist\/vocalist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/crystal-taliefero-interview-billy-joel-bruce-springsteen-john-mellencamp-1004252\/\">Crystal Taliefero<\/a>, guitarist Tommy Byrnes, bassist Andy Cichon, drummer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/chuck-burgi-meat-loaf-rainbow-billy-joel-1234741461\/\">Chuck Burgi,<\/a> horn player Carl Fischer, guitarist\/vocalist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/how-billy-joel-tribute-band-leader-landed-gig-with-the-real-piano-man-193002\/\">Mike DelGuidice<\/a>, and keyboardist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/keyboardist-david-rosenthal-interview-billy-joel-rainbow-steve-vai-1154018\/\">David Rosenthal<\/a>, who will double as the band leader.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tJoel was originally supposed to spend much of 2025 on the road, hitting stadiums all across North America and England. But he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/billy-joel-cancels-tour-normal-pressure-hydrocephalus-1235346714\/\">went public with his normal pressure hydrocephalus diagnosis<\/a> in May, and cancelled the shows. \u201cThis condition has been exacerbated by recent concert performances, leading to problems with hearing, vision, and balance,\u201d read a statement from Joel\u2019s team. \u201cUnder his doctor\u2019s instructions, Billy is undergoing specific physical therapy and has been advised to refrain from performing during this recovery period.
