\n\tJudee Sill<\/a> died in obscurity in 1979, but nearly 50 years later, her legacy<\/a> is more alive than ever. Artists continue to cover her songs, from Clairo <\/a>to Big Thief\u2019s Adrianne Lenker<\/a>. And on Monday in New York City, Hayley Williams<\/a> and Florence Welch<\/a> performed a rendition of the Sill classic \u201cLopin\u2019 Along Thru the Cosmos.\u201d <\/p>\n \n\tThe duo appeared at Jack Antonoff<\/a>\u2018s Ally Coalition Talent Show, his annual benefit held at NYU Skirball (his sister, designer Rachel Antonoff, served as host). Welch joined Williams, Antonoff, and his band Bleachers, and Phish\u2019s Trey Anastasio<\/a> onstage, and they dove into the 1971 song from Sill\u2019s self-titled debut. Williams first covered \u201cLopin’\u201d<\/a> back in the pandemic, but it sounds even more magical live. <\/p>\n
