The singer gives insight into her Eras Tour wardrobe update in the latest episode of ‘The End of an Era’<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n\tEvery Swiftie remembers where they were when Taylor Swift<\/a> emerged onstage in Miami<\/a> during the Eras Tour<\/a> for the Reputation<\/a><\/em> set \u2014 and donned a brand new black and gold bodysuit. Whether fans were in person at the Hard Rock Stadium or watching on a grainy TikTok livestream, screams most definitely ensued when they saw the change. Even the Miami rain, which started pouring down for that specific set, seemed like a paid actor. \u201cI got some new outfits, and it\u2019s always nice when the crowd notices that,\u201d Swift even wrote<\/a> on Instagram after the shows. It was a whole thing<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhy? Well, at that point in the Eras Tour 131-show trek, Swift had only worn one outfit for the Reputation<\/em> set. Meanwhile, every other one of Taylor\u2019s eras had new dresses, shirts, and details added to the sequined frenzy of a wardrobe. But not Reputation<\/em>. Designed by Roberto Cavalli, the black and red sparkly bodysuit with a snake detail and cut-outs Swift wore during the set became a fan-favorite for attendees to emulate at the Eras Tour. So when Swift kicked off the second U.S. leg of the Eras Tour in Miami, fans were more than ready for it.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the third episode of The End of an Era<\/a><\/em>, fans received some more insight into that pivotal wardrobe change. First, Swift\u2019s longtime stylist Joseph Cassell reveals that the designer of the new black and gold catsuit were on a time crunch to create it in time for the pop star\u2019s shows in Miami. Then, even Taylor\u2019s mom, Andrea, and her publicist, Tree Paine, share in the thrill of the bodysuit reveal. \u201cThat look is amazing,\u201d Paine says as the star tries on a refitted version of the outfit. \u201cIt\u2019s now my favorite,\u201d Swift says as she tries it on. \u201cI didn\u2019t see that coming,\u201d she adds.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile the black and gold Reputation<\/em> bodysuit \u2014 and fans reactions to it \u2014 gets a lot of camera time in The End of an Era<\/em>, Taylor doesn\u2019t share many details on why the change occurred in the first place \u2014 or what took so long. But she does take note of the kismet that continues to follow the singer, like that mystical rain moment that occurred when she debuted the bodysuit that first night in Miami. \u201cSometimes there\u2019s something that happens that\u2019s amazing, that\u2019s not something you can plan for, and not something that you can manufacture,\u201d she says. \u201cThere\u2019s still got to be some magical, beautiful mystery to life.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
