\n\tCa7riel and Paco Amoroso fans may have to wait a bit longer before hearing their upcoming album, Top of the Hills<\/a><\/em>. On Friday, the duo announced that they will be pushing back their album and forthcoming tour to \u201crest and heal.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cWe are writing this from the heart to say we are sorry. We got swept up in a level of exposure, pressure, and success that we didn\u2019t know how to handle, and we made hasty, wrong decisions,\u201d the band wrote in a statement posted to their Instagram. \u201cIt took us time to realize that we are exhausted and need to rest and heal.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tA rep for the duo confirmed to Rolling Stone<\/em> on Friday that Top of the Hills<\/em>\u2018 release, scheduled for Dec. 20, is postponed until next year, and that the tour is also being pushed. <\/p>\n \n\tThe upcoming LP is supposed to feature an \u201caudaciously maximalist\u201d sound that \u201cdismantles any of the expectations for what was to come next.\u201d And they were also set to hit the road in the new year, following their five Latin Grammys\u00a0<\/a>for their work on\u00a0Papota<\/em>. The stars went viral earlier this year, thanks to\u00a0their Tiny Desk concert\u00a0<\/a>in March, and have since found both fan and industry acclaim.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cTop of the Hills<\/em> was born at a time when things were moving too fast,\u201d the duo wrote in their Dec. 19 statement. \u201cToday, we\u2019ve decided to stop and postpone the album and the tour until further notice.\u201d<\/p>\n
