The order has been changed to account for the list’s heavier tone \u2014 and because this isn’t a staff-voted selection, but rather, UCR writer Bryan Rolli’s singular act of defiance.<\/p>\n Anyway …<\/em><\/p>\n We were mightily impressed by\u00a0inspired\u00a0new releases from\u00a0Cheap Trick<\/a>, Styx<\/a> and the original\u00a0Alice Cooper Group<\/a>, among others. Guns<\/a> extended their hot streak with\u00a0Leopard Skin<\/em>, and Wolfgang Van Halen<\/a> once again proved his mettle as one of rock’s most gifted polymaths on Mammoth<\/a>‘s\u00a0The End<\/a><\/em>.
