Bon Iver<\/a>, Gracie Abrams<\/a>, and the National<\/a>\u2019s Aaron Dessner have released a new song, \u201cSold Out<\/a>,\u201d to benefit the gun violence prevention organization Everytown<\/a>. Though Justin Vernon has often collaborated with Dessner, and Abrams and Dessner are ongoing songwriting partners\u2014not to mention that Abrams has covered<\/a> Bon Iver\u2019s \u201cBeach Baby\u201d\u2014\u201cSold Out\u201d is the first formal collaboration between Vernon and Abrams. Head to Bandcamp<\/a> to buy the song, which has not been made available to stream.<\/p>\n The three artists said in a joint statement that they made \u201cSold Out\u201d last year in the wake of a school shooting. \u201cWe were reminded of it this week as our hearts were broken yet again,\u201d they wrote, apparently referring to the Brown University shooting<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s a sad one to share during the holidays, but the world is hurting and we shouldn\u2019t look away. We are proud to support Everytown, an organization dedicated to ending gun violence in America. We are releasing this song to raise awareness of their mission of reducing gun violence.
