\n\tThe idea that the Beatles<\/a>\u2018 vital discography could be lost to a generation seems unfathomable, but as time passes, new technology arises, and society inevitably changes, John Lennon<\/a>\u2018s son, Sean Ono Lennon<\/a>, says it\u2019s possible that the band could someday be forgotten.<\/p>\n \n\tWhen speaking to CBS Sunday Morning<\/em><\/a>, Sean, 50, said he has \u201ctechnically\u201d taken over the role of custodian of his father\u2019s legacy, which his mother, Yoko Ono<\/a>, has protected and shaped <\/a>throughout the decades.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cBut obviously the world is also the custodian of his legacy, I would say,\u201d said Sean. \u201cI\u2019m just doing my best to help make sure that the younger generation doesn\u2019t forget about The Beatles and John and Yoko. That\u2019s how I look at it.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tWhen asked if he thought it was possible for the new generation to not remember, Sean replied, \u201cTo forget about it? I do, actually,\u201d adding, \u201cAnd I never did before.\u201d<\/p>\n
