On Instagram, the singer revealed that while her family was out snowboarding, she skipped the festivities to undergo surgery as part of her own push towards bravery in 2026. <\/p>\n\n\t\u201cI end the year giving reverence to, paying attention to, and to fixing my body,\u201d Pink wrote in a lengthy health update. \u201cIt may not be a fancy Face lift, but I am getting two new shiny discs in my neck. A new scar, a new reminder, that I appreciate this vessel that I have and use it for all it\u2019s worth.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tPink kept details about the procedure sparse, but noted that \u201crock \u2018n\u2019 roll is a contact sport,\u201d which could point towards cervical disc replacement. The operation is typically performed through the front of the neck, where the singer\u2019s bandage is placed in the photo she shared. Years of headbanging to \u201cSo What\u201d and performing acrobatics in arenas seem to have caught up to her. <\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cAs I sit here by myself on New Year\u2019s Eve in a hospital room while my family is happily snowboarding- I know that 2026 is going to be better because that is the choice that I have made,\u201d Pink wrote. \u201cI hope and pray every person can make that wish, have that choice. I know that isn\u2019t a reality for some. I will work this year to help preserve the choices of others to make for themselves and their families and this very pursuit of happiness.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tAccording to the Chinese Zodiac, the Year of the Horse doesn\u2019t technically begin until February, but it\u2019s never too early to get into the spirit. \u201cI am so happy to say goodbye to the snake year and welcome in the horse,\u201d Pink said at the beginning of her caption. \u201cI am leaving behind all of my hurt in 2025. This year was a doozy for all of us and it ran the spectrum from absolutely devastating to mildly annoying.
