The BMW that 2Pac<\/a> was riding in when he was fatally shot in 1996 is up for sale via Celebrity Cars Las Vegas<\/a>, marking the first time it has been publicly listed or displayed since the tragic incident.<\/p>\n The vehicle is valued at a cool $1.75 million and \u201chas undergone a comprehensive restoration to return it to the condition it was in prior to the shooting and has recently received a fresh coat of paint\u201d courtesy of its most recent owner, according to the listing.<\/p>\n The car, which is a black 1996 BMW 7 Series equipped with a 5.4 litre 12-cylinder engine and black leather interior, still bears a few faint marks from the drive-by shooting that gunned down 2Pac almost 30 years ago, though.<\/p>\n \u201cThere is a small exterior indentation believed to correspond with one of the bullet impact points, though it is subtle and difficult to distinguish,\u201d Celebrity Cars notes. \u201cThe interior door panel and liner have been carefully pulled back to reveal original weld marks, which are visible in the exact locations where the bullets penetrated the vehicle \u2014 further corroborating its historical significance.\u201d<\/p>\n In addition to possessing a one-of-a-kind item with a haunting backstory, the car\u2019s new owner will \u201creceive documentation verifying the vehicle\u2019s ownership and historical provenance.\u201d<\/p>\n A video tour of the vehicle can be seen below.<\/p>\n
