Twenty-four years after Life Without Buildings<\/a> called it quits, the art rockers will reunite for Rough Trade Records\u2019 50th anniversary. The show takes place November 20 at the London venue KOKO.<\/p>\n \u201ccat’s oot the bag then!,\u201d wrote<\/a> Robert Dallas Gray on BlueSky, confirming the reunion. The guitarist added the Glaswegian quartet \u201cdecided the 50th anniversary of Rough Trade was an appropriate time to get back together … been a strange ride remembering the songs!\u201d He also promised there will be \u201cat least\u201d one warm-up show, likely in Glasgow, with \u201cpossibly more\u201d to come.<\/p>\n Formed in 1999 by fellow Glasgow School of Art students Gray, Will Bradley, and Chris Evans, Life Without Buildings began as an instrumental outfit, later recruiting vocalist Sue Tompkins. The band released its lone studio album, 2001\u2019s Any Other City<\/a>,<\/em> on Rough Trade before breaking up a year later. In October, the band announced<\/a> an official release of their final song, \u201cLove Trinity.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
