{"id":55844,"date":"2026-01-16T15:23:35","date_gmt":"2026-01-16T15:23:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/musicianvoice.com\/index.php\/2026\/01\/16\/aap-rocky-disses-drake-on-stole-ya-flow-explains-their-beef\/"},"modified":"2026-01-16T15:23:35","modified_gmt":"2026-01-16T15:23:35","slug":"aap-rocky-disses-drake-on-stole-ya-flow-explains-their-beef","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/musicianvoice.com\/index.php\/2026\/01\/16\/aap-rocky-disses-drake-on-stole-ya-flow-explains-their-beef\/","title":{"rendered":"A$AP Rocky Disses Drake On &#8220;Stole Ya Flow&#8221; &#038; Explains Their Beef"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div itemprop=\"articleBody\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/artist\/asap-rocky\" target=\"_blank\">A$AP Rocky<\/a> has continued his feud with <a href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/artist\/drake\" target=\"_blank\">Drake<\/a> on his new album <a class=\"underline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/news\/new-music-friday-asap-rocky-nba-youngboy-gunna\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Don\u2019t Be Dumb<\/em><\/a>, sending more shots at the 6 God.<\/p>\n<p>On the song \u201cStole Ya Flow,\u201d Pretty Flacko appears to taunt Drizzy over his relationship with <a href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/artist\/rihanna\" target=\"_blank\">Rihanna<\/a> (who, of course, had a rumored fling with Drake years ago) while accusing him of biting his style.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cFirst you stole my flow \/ So I stole your bitch,\u201d<\/em> he spits on the hard-hitting track, before seemingly referencing Drake\u2019s alleged history of plastic surgery: <em>\u201cN*ggas getting BBLs, lucky we ain\u2019t body-shame.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><iframe class=\"optanon-category-C0003\" width=\"900\" height=\"360\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/dteNMCNSczE?si=lKZLB_Rt3jpGpUW-\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>In an interview with <em>The New York Times<\/em>\u2018 <em>Popcast<\/em> shortly before the release of <em>Don\u2019t Be Dumb<\/em>, A$AP Rocky all but confirmed that \u201cStole Ya Flow\u201d is aimed at his former \u201cFuckin\u2019 Problems\u201d collaborator.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think we all know [who I\u2019m talking about],\u201d he said. When co-host Joe Coscarelli noted that the Internet will most likely identify Drake as the target of the song, Rocky replied: \u201cYeah.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, the Harlem rapper gave a more vague answer when asked if \u201cStole Ya Flow\u201d is a clear-cut Drake diss. \u201cIt\u2019s for whoever thinks it\u2019s about them,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Rocky also opened up about his issues with Drizzy, explaining: \u201cI just started seeing people who started out as friends become foes. It seemed like they were unhappy for [me] and started sending shots. I think that\u2019s what led to any of our misunderstandings. It really ain\u2019t smoke.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also appeared to rule out a reconciliation, saying: \u201cIt don\u2019t even need to be [resolved]. For what?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His comments come at the 36:37 mark in the video below.<\/p>\n<p><iframe class=\"optanon-category-C0003\" width=\"900\" height=\"360\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/K5zgJ_oWgAE?si=uYjALSJJJKOCagna\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The pair\u2019s relationship soured in late 2023 when Drake appeared to diss A$AP Rocky and Rihanna on his album <em>For All the Dogs<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWhy they make it sound like I\u2019m still hung up on you? \/ That could never be \/ Gyal can\u2019t run me \/ Better him than me \/ Better it\u2019s not me,\u201d<\/em> he rapped on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=_6GOjETAPKo\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cFear of Heights.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Drizzy also not-so-subtly referenced RiRi\u2019s album <em>Anti<\/em> by spitting: <em>\u201cI\u2019m anti, I\u2019m anti \/ Yeah, and the sex was average with you \/ Yeah, I\u2019m anti \u2019cause I had it with you \/ Okay, I\u2019m auntie like your daddy\u2019s sister \/ Auntie like a family picture \/ And I had way badder bitches than you, TBH \/ Yeah, that man, he still with you, he can\u2019t leave you \/ Y\u2019all go on vacation, I bet it\u2019s Antigua.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>That led to a lyrical back-and-forth between Rocky and Drake on songs like \u201cFamily Matters,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/artist\/future\" target=\"_blank\">Future<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/artist\/metro-boomin\" target=\"_blank\">Metro Boomin<\/a>\u2018s \u201cShow of Hands\u201d and <a href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/artist\/kid-cudi\" target=\"_blank\">Kid Cudi<\/a>\u2018s \u201cWow.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/news\/asap-rocky-drake-diss-stole-ya-flow-beef-explained\/\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A$AP Rocky has continued his feud with Drake on his new album Don\u2019t Be Dumb, sending more shots at the 6 God.
