\n\tThe star-studded cast for Christopher Nolan<\/a>\u2018s epic The Odyssey<\/em><\/a> <\/em>keeps growing. A new trailer for the film, heading to theaters on July 17, revealed an unexpected cast member: Grammy Award-nominated and multiplatinum-selling rapper Travis Scott<\/a>.<\/p>\n \n\tThe preview premiered on Fox during the NFL AFC Championship game on Sunday evening while the New England Patriots and the Denver Broncos\u2019s face-off was on pause. Scott appears about 20 seconds into the minute-long trailer, preaching to a room full of soldiers about a war, a man, and a trick to break the walls of Troy. \u201cBurning,\u201d he says. \u201cScreaming to the ground.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe Odyssey<\/em> stars Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong\u2019o, Zendaya, and Charlize Theron. It marks Nolan\u2019s first film since 2023\u2019s Oppenheimer<\/em>. The adaptation of Homer\u2019s Greek epic was shot entirely with IMAX cameras. Scott, who previously appeared in acting roles in the experimental action film Aggro Dr1ft <\/em>in 2023 and took a voice role in Trolls: Holiday in Harmony<\/em>, might not have a resume as extensive as the other actors in The Odyssey<\/em>. That hasn\u2019t deterred his interest.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cThese are just different aspects that I was intrigued and I was into, to be honest,\u201d Scott told Rolling Stone <\/a><\/em>about his varied creative interests in his recent cover story. \u201cI\u2019m just into all things creative. I might not be the best in everything. That\u2019s how I can respect working with other people in certain fields that I\u2019m not so good in.\u201d<\/p>\n
