Geezus!,\u201d<\/a> <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/StevieVanZandt\/status\/2015558245583122677\">\u201cIdiotic play calling. Idiotic!,\u201d<\/a> and <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/StevieVanZandt\/status\/2015553319637250212\">\u201cI\u2019m sorry but there\u2019s no such thing as a cover sack. You throw the fucking ball away.\u201d\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe Super Bowl is Feb. 8, which may seem a little odd for old-timers out there, since it took place in January up until 2003, when the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/nfl\/\" id=\"auto-tag_nfl\" data-tag=\"nfl\">NFL<\/a> extended the regular season. We\u2019re talking, of course, about the immortal classic \u201cThe Super Bowl Shuffle.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tAs the fascinating new HBO documentary <em>The Shuffle<\/em> reveals, nobody involved with the song thought it would become nearly as popular as it became. That\u2019s why we had things like Rodney Dangerfield\u2019s comedy LP <em>Rappin\u2019 Rodney<\/em> and \u201cHoneymooners Rap\u201d by Joe Piscopo and Eddie Murphy. But those three comedians sound practically like Rakim or Eminem next to the vast majority of 1980s Chicago Bears players, who were also forced to do a line dance. Football games come and go, we have a Super Bowl every year, but there\u2019s only one \u201cSuper Bowl Shuffle.\u201d That doesn\u2019t mean the winners of the Patriots\/Seahawks game should attempt their own.
