Tyler, the Creator<\/a> hit the stage at the 2026 Grammy Awards tonight, performing the Chromakopia<\/em><\/a> track \u201cThought I Was Dead\u2019 and the Don’t Tap The Glass<\/em><\/a> song \u201cSugar On My Tongue.\u201d Check out a video of the medley below.<\/p>\n The rapper\u2019s performance opened with him marching through the audience in garb straight off the Chromakopia<\/em> cover. He jumped into \u201cThought I Was Dead\u201d before transitioning into \u201cSugar On My Tongue\u201d after an interlude from Regina King, who appeared as an auto shop attendant. After rapping atop a red Ferrari, Tyler escaped the stage just in time for the shop to explode, leaving confetti around the stage.<\/p>\n Tyler last performed at the Grammys in 2020, when he performed a medley from his sixth album, Igor<\/em><\/a>. That record won him his first Grammy<\/a> the same year, for Best Rap Album; in 2024, he won the category again<\/a> for Call Me If You Get Lost<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n Tyler was up for six Grammys<\/a> this year, including Best Rap Album, Best Alternative Music Album<\/a>, Best Rap Performance (for Chromakopia<\/em>\u2019s \u201cDarling, I\u201d), and Best Rap Song (for Chromakopia<\/em>\u2019s \u201cSticky\u201d). Earlier in the night, he won the first-ever Grammy for Best Album Cover<\/a> for Chromakopia<\/em><\/a>.
