\n\tBritney Spears<\/a> has sold the rights to her iconic music catalog, <\/em>multiple sources confirmed to Rolling Stone<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tPrimary Wave<\/a> will now take over Spears\u2019 ownership share of her many hit songs, including \u201c\u2026Baby One More Time,\u201d \u201cOops!\u2026 I Did It Again,\u201d \u201c(You Drive Me) Crazy,\u201d \u201cI\u2019m a Slave 4 U,\u201d \u201cLucky,\u201d \u201cI\u2019m Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman,\u201d among many others.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tThe deal, which was first reported by TMZ<\/a>, is said to have been inked on Dec. 30. It is not clear how much Spears sold her rights for, but a source told the outlet it was on par with Justin Bieber\u2019s reported $200 million deal<\/a> to sell his back catalog to Hipgnosis<\/a> Songs Capital in 2023.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tRolling Stone<\/em> has reached out to representatives for Spears and Primary Wave for further comment.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tPrimary Wave has been in the business of snapping up catalogs from some of music\u2019s biggest names. Last March, they bought a 50 percent stake in The Notorious B.I.G.\u2019s estate<\/a>, and in the past have reached deals with the estates for Whitney Houston, Bob Marley, Prince<\/a>, and Cars leader Ric Ocasek. In 2020, Stevie Nicks sold her publishing rights to the company.<\/p>\n
