His most recent major-label record was 1989&#8217;s <em>Long Hard Look<\/em>. Meanwhile, the Black Crowes are back with <em>A Pound of Feathers<\/em> just two years after releasing 2024&#8217;s <em><a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/black-crowes-happiness-bastards-album-review\/\">Happiness Bastards<\/a><\/em>. They&#8217;d been on their own recording hiatus, dating back more than a decade.<\/p>\n<p>Siblings <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/chris-robinson\/\">Chris<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/rich-robinson\/\">Rich Robinson<\/a>\u00a0recorded <em>A Pound of Feathers<\/em> in just over a week in\u00a0Nashville with Jay Joyce, who also produced the Grammy-nominated <em>Happiness Bastards<\/em>. Gramm&#8217;s <em>Released<\/em> was advanced by the single &#8220;Young Love,&#8221; featuring <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/def-leppard\/\">Def Leppard<\/a>&#8216;s <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/vivian-campbell\/\">Vivian Campbell<\/a> on guitar.<\/p>\n<h3>Who&#8217;s Releasing New Rock Records in March 2026?<\/h3>\n<p>March&#8217;s slate of new music also includes LPs from <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/squeeze\/\">Squeeze<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/tedeschi-trucks-band\/\">Tedeschi Trucks Band<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/black-label-society\/\">Black Label Society<\/a>, among others. <em>Trixies<\/em> features the first songs that Squeeze&#8217;s Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook ever wrote together. Tedeschi Trucks Band&#8217;s <em>Future Soul<\/em> was co-produced by Mike Elizondo, who&#8217;s worked with <a href=\"https:\/\/popcrush.com\/tags\/twenty-one-pilots\/\" target=\"_blank\">Twenty One Pilots<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xxlmag.com\/tags\/dr-dre\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dr. Dre<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/tasteofcountry.com\/tags\/carrie-underwood\/\" target=\"_blank\">Carrie Underwood<\/a>, among others.<\/p>\n<p>The month&#8217;s reissues include an expanded edition of <a href=\"&quot;https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/van-halen\/\">Van Halen<\/a>&#8216;s <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/van-halen-5150\/\"><em>5150<\/em><\/a>, with rarities and previously unreleased live recordings added to the No. 1 album from 1986 that introduced <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/sammy-hagar\/\">Sammy Hagar<\/a> to the lineup. <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/aerosmith\/\">Aerosmith<\/a> looks back even further to their 1973 <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/aerosmith-aerosmith-first-album\/\">eponymous debut<\/a> with a new three-disc Legendary Edition that includes a disc of bonus live tracks and session songs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ MORE:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/top-rock-music-2025\/\">2025&#8217;s Best Albums<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/rush\/\">Rush<\/a> belatedly celebrates the 40th anniversary of 1984&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/rush-grace-under-pressure\/\"><em>Grace Under Pressure<\/em><\/a> with an expanded five-disc box that features a live show from the band&#8217;s hometown of Toronto. A new triple-disc <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/talking-heads\/\">Talking Heads<\/a>\u00a0box called <em>Tentative Decisions: Demos &amp; Live<\/em> collects previously unreleased demos and live recordings from their first years in New York City.<\/p>\n<p>Guitarist <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/zakk-wylde\/\">Zakk Wylde<\/a>&#8216;s Black Label Society pays tribute to his longtime collaborator <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/ozzy-osbourne\/\">Ozzy Osbourne<\/a> on <em>Engines of Demolition<\/em>. The partly live recorded <em>Bongo Fury<\/em> from <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/frank-zappa\/\">Frank Zappa<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/captain-beefheart\/\">Captain Beefheart<\/a> has also been expanded into a six-disc set featuring unreleased live and studio tracks from the era.<\/p>\n<p>More information on these and the rest of the month&#8217;s pending rock albums can be found below.
