Irreversible Entanglements<\/a> are back with a new album. The free-jazz quintet led by Camae Ayewa aka Moor Mother<\/a>, will release Future Present Past<\/em><\/a> on March 27 via Impulse!<\/a> Helado Negro<\/a> and New York-based vocalist Motherboard<\/a> each guest on multiple tracks. Listen to \u201cDon\u2019t Lose Your Head<\/a>\u201d and \u201cVibrate Higher<\/a>,\u201d both featuring Motherboard, below.<\/p>\n

Composed of Ayewa, bassist Luke Stewart, trumpeter Aquiles Navarro, saxophonist Keir Neuringer, and drummer Tcheser Holmes, Irreversible Entanglements shared their last record, Protect Your Light<\/em><\/a>, in 2023. Future Present Past<\/em> was engineered by Jonathan Schenke and mixed by Andrew Lappin.<\/p>\n
