\n\tDuring Raye<\/a>\u2018s This Tour May Contain New Music<\/a><\/em> stop in Paris on Sunday, Feb. 15, 65 ticket holders were reportedly turned away and left stranded outside her concert at Accor Arena.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe singer took to social media on Tuesday to address the Ticketmaster<\/a> fumble. \u201cI am completely devastated for the 65 ticket holders who were turned down from entering our Paris show on Sunday night,\u201d wrote Raye on Instagram Stories the following Tuesday. \u201cThis is completely unacceptable and wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tRaye said she was told there was a \u201csystem error\u201d at Ticketmaster, which led to the tickets not being \u201cfully validated when they were purchased.\u201d Despite the issue being \u201coutside of anything I could control,\u201d the artist said she felt \u201csaddened and let down\u201d by the blunder. She added that \u201ceveryone affected was refunded and given a voucher from Ticketmaster,\u201d while also offering all 65 people who were denied entry complimentary tickets to any of her future shows and a signed vinyl.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI know this doesn\u2019t even remotely make up for this mess, but it\u2019s all I can think of in this moment to soften the blow,\u201d she said before ending her note. \u201cMy deepest apologies to those of you affected.\u201d<\/p>\n

BE BETTER.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDean\u2019s denouncement arrived about two months after the Federal Trade Commission and seven states sued Live Nation\u00a0and\u00a0Ticketmaster\u00a0<\/a>(the companies merged in 2010) and accused the country\u2019s biggest concert promoter and ticketing website of allowing\u00a0scalpers<\/a>\u00a0to hoover up millions of tickets so they can be resold on Ticketmaster\u2019s own resale platforms at a steep markups to customers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
