American Football<\/a>\u2019s fourth studio album is imminent. The legendary emo band confirmed today, February 18, that LP 4<\/em> is due out May 1 on Polyvinyl<\/a>. Although they haven\u2019t shared any new music from the album yet, you can check out the cover art and full tracklist below.<\/p>\n LP4<\/em> follows 2019\u2019s LP3<\/em><\/a> and 2016\u2019s LP2<\/em><\/a>, the latter of which arrived after a 17-year hiatus. The band released their acclaimed self-titled debut (or LP1<\/em><\/a>) in 1999; in 2024, they celebrated the release\u2019s 25th anniversary with a reissue and a covers version featuring Ethel Cain, Iron & Wine, Manchester Orchestra, and many more. In 2019, the band also released Year One Demos<\/em><\/a>, a collection of recordings from the LP1<\/em> sessions, to celebrate the album\u2019s 20th anniversary.<\/p>\n Earlier this month, American Football confirmed an extensive 2026 tour<\/a>, which will see them traverse North America, Europe, and the UK with support from Mei Seimones<\/a>, Ian Sweet<\/a>, Marconi Union, and Afternoon Bike Ride.
