Snail Mail<\/a> is back with a new song. \u201cMy Maker\u201d is the latest track from her next album Ricochet<\/em><\/a>, and it arrives alongside a one-take music video where she\u2019s playing live from a hot-air balloon. You can watch that below.<\/p>\n In a press statement, Lindsey Jordan said the \u201cMy Maker\u201d lyric \u201cAbove us, it\u2019s just sky\u201d inspired the video\u2019s in-air location. \u201cIt took six canceled rides for that to happen, but we finally got up there,\u201d she added. \u201cI wanted the video to reference the lyrics about mortality, but also about the freedom that comes with realizing fate is out of your hands.\u201d Jordan and Elsie Richter directed the visual, and Momma<\/a>\u2019s Aron Kobayashi Ritch co-produced the track.<\/p>\n \u201cMy Maker\u201d follows \u201cDead End,\u201d the lead single Jordan shared when she announced Ricochet<\/em> back in January. This spring, she\u2019ll support the new record with an international tour, featuring support from Sharp Pins<\/a>, Avalon Emerson<\/a> & The Charm, Swirlies<\/a>, and more.
