\n\tNorth West<\/a> has signed to Gamma, former Apple executive Larry Jackson\u2018s independent music company that\u2019s vying to be a top contender in the industry. Sources confirmed the news to Rolling Stone<\/em> and said North has been spending time in the studio.<\/p>\n \n\tSince its 2023 launch, Gamma has collaborated with the likes of Mariah Carey, Usher, Sexyy Red, and Snoop Dogg \u2014 with the Doggfather moving Death Row under Gamma\u2019s umbrella for distribution services. The media company has also brought in North\u2019s father Ye, the artist formerly known as\u00a0Kanye West<\/a>, who inked a partnership deal with Gamma<\/a> for the release of\u00a0Bully<\/em>, his 12th studio album set to arrive on March 20.<\/p>\n \n\tAt 12 years old, North, a scion of\u00a0Kim Kardashian<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Ye\u2019s celebrity empire, appears poised to chart her own path in music. Her recent single, \u201cPiercing on My Hand,\u201d which arrived on Feb. 6, was reportedly released via Gamma and produced by Ye and Will Frenchman. In January, North debuted the track live alongside her father in Mexico City in front of nearly 40,000 attendees, and the pair also performed Ye\u2019s 2014 dedication to his eldest daughter, titled \u201cOnly One,\u201d plus \u00a5$ tracks \u201cTalking\u201d and \u201cBomb.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tNorth previously appeared on Ye and Ty Dolla $ign\u2019s\u00a0Vultures<\/em>\u00a0single \u201cTalking\/Once Again,\u201d which reached Number 30 on the\u00a0Billboard<\/em>\u00a0Hot 100 and charted in the U.K. She also featured on FKA Twigs<\/a>\u2018 \u201cChildlike Things<\/a>\u201d on the Grammy winner\u2019s album\u00a0Eusexua<\/em> \u2014 which saw North rapping in both English and Japanese over Twigs\u2019 electronic dance beat.<\/p>\n
