Foo Fighters<\/a> will release a new album, Your Favorite Toy<\/em>, on April 24 via Roswell<\/a>\/RCA<\/a>. The title track<\/a> of the follow-up to 2023\u2019s But Here We Are<\/em><\/a> is out now; check that out below, along with the album tracklist. Foo Fighters co-produced the home-recorded LP with Oliver Roman.<\/p>\n

Grohl said of the single in a press release, \u201c\u2018Your Favorite Toy\u2019 really was the key that unlocked the tone and energetic direction of the new album. We stumbled upon it after experimenting with different sounds and dynamics for over a year, and the day it took shape I knew that we had to follow its lead. It was the fuse to the powder keg of songs we wound up recording for this record. It feels new.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last October, Foo Fighters shared the album closer, \u201cAsking for a Friend,\u201d along with a batch of stadium tour<\/a> dates. Your Favorite Toy<\/em> is the band\u2019s first album with new drummer<\/a> Ilan Rubin, who replaced<\/a> Taylor Hawkins<\/a>\u2019 replacement Josh Freese<\/a>. Mark \u201cSpike\u201d Stent resumed mixing duties.<\/p>\n
