Pulp frontman <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/jarvis-cocker\/\" id=\"auto-tag_jarvis-cocker\" data-tag=\"jarvis-cocker\">Jarvis Cocker<\/a> enlisted an all-star choir to add backing vocals to the track, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/damon-albarn\/\" id=\"auto-tag_damon-albarn\" data-tag=\"damon-albarn\">Damon Albarn<\/a>,\u00a0Grian Chatten,\u00a0Kae Tempest,\u00a0and\u00a0Carl Barat. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cThirty years ago we gave our Mercury Prize (and the prize money) to War Child,\u201d Cocker said in a statement. \u201cThis year we have given more. How much more? The goal of the album is to \u201cengage music lovers globally in support of War Child\u2019s vital work delivering immediate aid, education, specialist mental health support, and protection to children affected by conflict around the world.\u201d It includes songs from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/arctic-monkeys\/\" id=\"auto-tag_arctic-monkeys\" data-tag=\"arctic-monkeys\">Arctic Monkeys<\/a>, Olivia Rodrigo, Depeche Mode, Bat for Lashes, Beck, Wet Leg, The Last Dinner Party, and Fontaines DC. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201c<em>HELP(2)<\/em>\u00a0is more than an album,\u201d Rich Clarke, Head of Music at War Child UK, said in a statement. \u201cIt\u2019s a powerful example of what can happen when the music industry comes together around a shared purpose. It has united a diverse group of artists and creatives in support of War Child\u2019s vital work with children affected by the devastating impacts of war. The LP, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-album-reviews\/pulp-more-review-1235357487\/\">More<\/a><\/em>, marked the Brit pop band\u2019s eighth full-length release. Cocker was inspired to get the band back in the studio in part by the deaths of his mother and the band\u2019s longtime bassist Steve Mackey. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cWhen Steve passed away, it\u2019s a kind of cliche, but it gives you a reality check,\u201d Cocker told <em>Rolling Stone<\/em>. \u201cIt made us realize that we had a chance to be creative.
