Five years ago today, Daft Punk<\/a> posted a video announcing they were breaking up<\/a>. The French electronic duo is still defunct, unfortunately, but that doesn\u2019t mean Thomas Bangalter<\/a> and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo<\/a> are done celebrating their helmeted past. They just released a new music video for their 2005 single \u201cHuman After All\u201d featuring footage from Electroma<\/em>, their 2006 sci-fi film, that was edited by Cedric Hervet<\/a>. Watch it below.<\/p>\n In the clip for the Human After All<\/a><\/em> song, Daft Punk drive a car through the desert and eventually pass through a residential town. As they observe neighbors outside on a sunny day\u2014dining on a cafe patio, getting married at a chapel, pushing their children on playground swings\u2014they clock that each one of them is wearing a helmet, too.<\/p>\n Last fall, Daft Punk joined Fortnite<\/em><\/a> and released a collection of Human After All<\/em> remixes on vinyl to celebrate the album\u2019s 20th anniversary. Among the artists who reworked the songs were Justice, Soulwax, Basement Jaxx, Erol Alkan, and the Juan Maclean.
