Tomahawk<\/a> have reunited for a U.S. summer tour. The Melvins<\/a>\u2013backed dates are the first in 13 years for the supergroup, which comprises Faith No More\u2019s Mike Patton, the Jesus Lizard\u2019s Duane Dension, Battles\u2019 John Stanier, and Mr. Bungle\u2019s Trevor Dunn. Check out the itinerary below.<\/p>\n

Dension said in a press release, \u201cIn the spirit of the Olympics, Team Tomahawk has decided to rise up and go for the gold once again\u2014also competing will be our cohorts the Melvins.\u201d<\/p>\n

Buzz Osborne added, \u201cThis tour is a no brainer. I can\u2019t wait. A Melvins\/Tomahawk trek will be a stone groove.\u201d He\u2019ll be playing in a four-piece Melvins incarnation alongside Dale Crover, Steven McDonald, and Coady Willis.<\/p>\n

Tomahawk released three albums in their 2000s run, initially playing with Melvins bassist Kevin Rutmanis. His replacement, Dunn, was appointed in time for a 2013 reunion album, Oddfellows<\/em><\/a>, and the band regrouped again in 2021 for Tonic Immobility<\/em>, a pandemic album that was never performed live.<\/p>\n
