The Melvins will be the special guest for all of the upcoming dates.<\/p>\n<p>The supergroup, which features <a href=\"https:\/\/loudwire.com\/tags\/mike-patton\/\" target=\"_blank\">Mike Patton<\/a> of <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/faith-no-more\/\">Faith No More<\/a>, plus Duane Denison of the Jesus Lizard, John Stanier (<a href=\"https:\/\/loudwire.com\/tags\/helmet\/\" target=\"_blank\">Helmet<\/a>, Battles) and Trevor Dunn (<a href=\"https:\/\/loudwire.com\/tags\/mr-bungle\" target=\"_blank\">Mr. Bungle<\/a>), mounted their last tour in 2013 as they were supporting that year&#8217;s <em>Oddfellows<\/em> album. Though they returned with 2021&#8217;s <em>Tonic Immobility<\/em>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/coronavirus\/\">pandemic<\/a> kept the band from performing live at that time.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>A Huge Waste of Your Time and Money<\/em> tour will launch July 18 in Nashville. A total of 21 dates have been announced so far, wrapping up Aug. 15 in Los Angeles. Tickets will go on sale Friday (Feb. 27) with a fan presale starting Wednesday (Feb. 25) at 10 a.m. local time (Password: Flashback). More information is available at the <a href=\"http:\/\/Ipecac.com\" target=\"_blank\">official website<\/a> for Ipecac, the band&#8217;s label.<\/p>\n<p>Denison said in a press release regarding the upcoming outing: \u201cIn the spirit of the Olympics, Team Tomahawk has decided to rise up and go for the gold once again \u2013 also competing will be our cohorts the Melvins.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis tour is a no brainer. I can\u2019t wait. A Melvins\/Tomahawk trek will be a stone groove,\u201d\u00a0 Buzz Osborne added. The Melvins will play the upcoming dates in their four-piece incarnation featuring Osborne, Dale Crover, Steven McDonald, and Coady Willis.<\/p>\n<div class=\"single-post-image \">\n<figure class=\"img-tag has-sizer aligncenter\" style=\"max-width:1600px\">\n<p><span class=\"visually-hidden\">Tomahawk and Melvins 2026 Tour Dates<\/span><\/p><figcaption>Speakeasy PR<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<h3>Mike Patton Has Been Busy<\/h3>\n<p><em>Tohic Immobility<\/em> was the first new album from Tomahawk in eight years.\u00a0More recently, Patton released 2025&#8217;s <em>AVT\/PTTN<\/em>, a collaboration with the <a href=\"https:\/\/tasteofcountry.com\/tags\/the-avett-brothers\/\" target=\"_blank\">Avett Brothers<\/a>. The album came out this past November. The pair will preview <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theavettbrothers.com\/tour\" target=\"_blank\">their upcoming April 2026 tour<\/a> in late March with an appearance at the annual Big Ears festival<\/p>\n<p>The Melvins continue to tour heavily and recently announced an expanded edition of <a href=\"https:\/\/melvinsofficial.bandcamp.com\/album\/savage-imperial-death-march\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Savage Imperial Death March<\/em><\/a>. The album found them teaming up with their touring partners, <a href=\"https:\/\/loudwire.com\/tags\/napalm-death\/\" target=\"_blank\">Napalm Death<\/a>, and was initially released last year only on physical media.<\/p>\n<p>The new expansion adds two additional tracks and is set for release April 10 via Ipecac.
