CeeLo Green<\/a> and Danger Mouse<\/a> have revived their Gnarls Barkley<\/a> alias for one more album. Atlanta<\/em> is due out on March 6 on Atlantic<\/a>-affiliated imprint 10k Projects<\/a>; a lead single shared today (February 25), \u201cPictures,\u201d marks the pair\u2019s first new studio release in 18 years. Give it a listen below.<\/p>\n \u201cPictures\u201d takes its inspiration from the many hours Green spent riding Atlanta\u2019s MARTA public transit system as a kid, he shared in a press statement. \u201cI had a middle school principal who, Although they haven\u2019t dropped a Gnarls Barkley record since 2008\u2019s The Odd Couple<\/em><\/a>, both have released music solo. Green shared his sixth studio album, CeeLo Green is Thomas Calloway<\/em>, in 2020; it followed 2015\u2019s Heart Blanche<\/em> and 2012\u2019s CeeLo\u2019s Magic Moment<\/em>.<\/a> He also spent two years as a judge on The Voice<\/em>, and appeared on tracks from Eminem<\/a>, Tyrese, T.I., and Asher Roth.<\/p>\n Danger Mouse, meanwhile, has spent the past near-decade rolling out collaborative albums with artists including Sparklehorse<\/a>, Daniele Luppi<\/a>, and Karen O<\/a>.
