\n\tPink<\/a>, a three-time Grammy-winning artist and one of the boldest voices of the 21st century, has plenty of topics the press can mull over that don\u2019t involve her marital status.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Thursday, Feb. 26, the singer-songwriter took to Instagram to address rumors that she had split from her husband, former motocross racer Carey Hart. \u201cSo I was just alerted to the fact that I\u2019m separated from my husband,\u201d said Pink. \u201cI didn\u2019t know. Thank you People<\/em> magazine, thank you Us Weekly<\/em>. Thank you for letting me know. I was wondering if you\u2019d also like to tell our children. My 14-year-old and 9-year-old are also unaware.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAs an alternative to the fuss over her personal life, Pink pointed to more pressing matters: \u201cOr do you want to talk about some real news? Do you want to talk about the Epstein files? Do you want to talk about systemic racism or misogyny in sports or how classy the women\u2019s hockey team is or how eight of the 12 medals won in the Olympics this year for the U.S. were won by women?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tPink, who has been nominated<\/a> for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame\u2019s Class of 2026, also proposed, \u201cOr do you maybe want to talk about the fact that I got nominated the first year I was eligible for the Rock and Roll motherfucking Hall of Fame?\u201d She continued, \u201cDo you want to talk about my accomplishments? Or do you only want to talk about my supposed demise?\u201d After shutting down the relationship rumors as \u201cfake news,\u201d she added, \u201cTrash news you can do better.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe star has been nominated alongside Phil Collins, Lauryn Hill, Mariah Carey, Oasis, Pink, the Black Crowes, Jeff Buckley, Melissa Etheridge, Billy Idol, INXS, Iron Maiden, Joy Division\/New Order, New Edition, Sade, Shakira, Luther Vandross, and the Wu-Tang Clan.\u00a0Inductees will be announced in April and the annual ceremony will take place in the fall.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tPink celebrated the news the day prior, writing<\/a> on social media, \u201cThis nomination isn\u2019t mine; it\u2019s ours. It\u2019s for every one of us who ever felt like an outsider or underdog and found something in this music that made them feel less alone.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
