After promising the new Johnny Blue Skies album Mutiny After Midnight <\/em>would only be available on CD, vinyl, and cassette, the record has dropped early on YouTube<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n \n\tSturgill Simpson\u2019s new album<\/a> has arrived two weeks early, and you can actually listen to it online.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tOver the weekend, the country innovator\u2019s latest record as Johnny Blue Skies<\/a>, Mutiny After Midnight<\/em>, appeared in full on YouTube. The LP was previously scheduled to drop March 13, and was supposed to only be available on vinyl, CD, and cassette. As it stands, YouTube is the only place the album is available digitally, and it hasn\u2019t been released to any other streaming services.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tMutiny After Midnight <\/em>marks Simpson\u2019s ninth studio album and second under his Johnny Blue Skies<\/a> moniker, following 2024\u2019s celebrated Passage du Desir<\/a><\/em>. The album was recorded at Dan Auerbach\u2019s Easy Eye Studio in Nashville, with Simpson producing and his Johnny Blue Skies backing band, the Dark Clouds, providing accompaniment.\u00a0<\/p>\n
