\n\tDuring Oasis<\/a>\u2018 2025 comeback<\/a> tour, the 1998 single \u201cAcquiesce\u201d was a set list staple. Most nights, it was the second song the band would play to their sold-out stadium audiences. On March 6, Oasis will release the live version of \u201cAcquiesce\u201d captured at Wembley Stadium for HELP(2),<\/em><\/a> <\/em>the charity album that will raise funds for War Child UK, which helps children affected by global conflict.<\/p>\n \n\tThe recording was performed on Sept. 28, the last of seven shows Oasis played at Wembley Stadium last year. It marks their first live recording and physical release since the launch of the Oasis Live \u201925 tour.<\/a> A few years before \u201cAcquiesce\u201d was released, Oasis appeared on the original HELP <\/em>album. In 1995, their recording of \u201cFade Away\u201d was selected for the charity album alongside selections from Sin\u00e9ad O\u2019Connor, Blur, Massive Attack, and more.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cThat had a huge effect for the charity,\u201d longtime record executive Rich Clarke recently told Rolling Stone<\/em>.<\/a> \u201cAt that point, they were doing minor things, delivering supplies behind siege lines in Sarajevo. It allowed the organization to scale up, because crucially, it had money to fund activities.\u201d This time around, Oasis are joined on HELP(2) <\/em>by Olivia Rodrigo, Cameron Winter, Wet Leg, Sampha, Arlo Parks, Depeche Mode, Big Thief, and more. <\/p>\n
