Kelsey Lu<\/a> is back with their long-awaited follow-up to 2019\u2019s Blood<\/em><\/a>. So Help Me God<\/em>, their debut for Dirty Hit<\/a>, arrives June 12. Co-produced by Lu with Jack Antonoff<\/a> and Yves Rothman, the album features Kim Gordon<\/a>, Sampha<\/a>, Kamasi Washington<\/a>, and Lady Jess. Leading the LP is \u201cRunning to Pain,\u201d a newly theatrical spin on the cellist\/composer\/singer\u2019s hybridist chamber-pop, complete with a Savanah Leaf<\/a>-directed video starring Titane<\/em> actor Garance Marillier. Check that out below, along with the album art and tracklist.<\/p>\n Lu said in a press release, \u201cSo Help Me God<\/em> was built slowly and intentionally across seven years of transformation. Sonically and emotionally it holds so many different worlds at once\u2014devotion and desire, collapse and becoming\u2014trying to make sense of what it means to break, to believe, to long for something without seeing it clearly, and to be reborn again and again and again.\u201d<\/p>\n Despite not releasing an album since Blood<\/em>, Lu has kept busy, with output including the EP Blood Transfusion<\/em><\/a>, collaborations with Jamie xx<\/a>, Yves Tumor<\/a> and Boys Noize<\/a>, and scores for Netflix\u2019s Daughters<\/em> and A24\u2019s Earth Mama<\/em>.
