C\u00e9line Dion<\/a> has announced her first headlining concert in six years. Beginning in September, she\u2019ll play a 10-show residency at France\u2019s Paris La D\u00e9fense Arena. These will be Dion\u2019s inaugural performances since being diagnosed<\/a> with stiff person syndrome\u2014a rare, incurable neurological disorder that causes spasms and other physical difficulties\u2014in 2022. I\u2019m so ready to do this. I\u2019m feeling good, I\u2019m strong, I\u2019m feeling excited\u2014obviously, of course, a little nervous\u2014but most of all, I am grateful to all of you. I can\u2019t wait to see you again. Well, happy birthday to me.\u201d<\/p>\n Dion\u2019s last proper tour was cut short in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and later suffered several attempts at rescheduling legs.
