A new Strokes<\/a> album draws near. The band has shared a retro teaser video<\/a> featuring a 1980s Nissan 300ZX and the tagline \u201cIn the Flesh, it\u2019s Even Sexier,\u201d which confirms that their seventh studio album is called Reality Awaits<\/em> and will be out \u201cthis summer.\u201d Watch the clip below.<\/p>\n

Reality Awaits<\/em> will mark the first Strokes LP since 2020\u2019s The New Abnormal<\/em><\/a>. That record earned Julian Casablancas & co. their first Grammy<\/a>. In 2024, Casablancas\u2019 band the Voidz released the album Like All Before You<\/em><\/a>. The Strokes are performing at Coachella<\/a> this weekend. They\u2019re also headlining Bonnaroo<\/a> and Outside Lands<\/a> in the summer.<\/p>\n
