\n\tMethod Man<\/a> addressed the backlash from fans after missing Wu-Tang Clan<\/a>\u2018s recent Australian tour dates, saying he never committed to the shows. Promoters were forced to offer refunds<\/a> to ticket holders after four of the band\u2019s members were absent from the concerts. <\/p>\n \n\tThe shows, billed as \u201cWu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber Tour,\u201d were promoted as including the full lineup. However, Method Man, Raekwon, Cappadonna, and Young Dirty Bastard did not perform as part of the Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney dates. <\/p>\n \n\t\u201cBefore we even went on the overseas tour, I wasn\u2019t going. I said I wasn\u2019t going. I said I was booked,\u201d Method Man said on Instagram over the weekend (via Billboard<\/em><\/a>). He said the promoters marketed the shows as featuring the full lineup despite knowing he had not agreed to appear.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI was seeing flyers saying all living members are going to be there\u2026 they know that I haven\u2019t agreed to go on the tour yet,\u201d he said, calling the promoters \u201coverzealous.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tHe continued, \u201cSometimes the promoters are privy to this information but don\u2019t want to give out this information. They\u2019ll wait for the ticket sales, and then they\u2019ll make an announcement close to the date, which I don\u2019t think is fair.
