One of the biggest mysteries of this year\u2019s Coachella<\/a> lineup has finally been solved. \u201cThe Bunker Debut of Radiohead<\/a>\u2019s Kid A Mnesia<\/em>\u201d is not a performance as some hopeful fans were predicting, but a new 75-minute audiovisual installation called Motion Picture House, featuring artwork by singer Thom Yorke and longtime collaborator Stanley Donwood, along with music from the band\u2019s combined 2021 reissue<\/a> of Kid A<\/em> and Amnesiac<\/em>. You can check out a full trailer of the project below.<\/p>\n The installation first launched in 2021 as a virtual-only exhibit<\/a> directed by Sean Evans (the band had initially conceived of the project as a physical installation, until COVID restrictions scuttled that idea). In a statement, Yorke describes the current iteration as \u201ca Monster is trapped in a derelict museum of the lost & forgotten.\u201d<\/em> At Coachella, Radiohead will debut the project in a literal 17,000 square-foot bunker underground. Following its premiere, they will take the show on a short North American run through Brooklyn, Chicago, Mexico City, and San Francisco.
