During a recent stop on\u00a0This Past Weekend With Theo Von<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>Langley said that “Dandelion” is the oldest song on the record.<\/p>\n It actually almost wound up on the track list for her 2024 album\u00a0Hungover<\/em>, but she decided to hold it back, because\u00a0it had the sound and lyrical themes she wanted to dig into more on her next project.<\/p>\n In the lyrics, Langley compares herself to a dandelion \u2014 “born to live free, ridin’ on a breeze” \u2014\u00a0<\/em>as opposed to\u00a0<\/em>a more classically beautiful flower like a rose.<\/p>\n Dandelions are often considered weeds, and similarly, Langley says she’s sometimes been overlooked.
