Anitta<\/a> and Shakira<\/a> have teamed up for a new song called \u201cChoka Choka.\u201d It\u2019s the second single from Anitta\u2019s forthcoming album Equilibrivm<\/em>, following last month\u2019s \u201cPinterest<\/a>.\u201d Give it a listen below.<\/p>\n

In a press statement, Anitta said that \u201cChoka Choka\u201d \u201cis about a free woman\u2014self-aware, cheeky, complex, and incredibly powerful. Elements that have always been part of my universe.\u201d The song, which was co-produced by veteran Rio de Janiero DJ Papatinho and Nigerian producer Doramola<\/em>, features verses in both Portuguese and English.<\/p>\n

Anitta is set to debut \u201cChoka Choka\u201d live on SNL<\/em> this Saturday, where she\u2019ll serve as musical guest alongside host Colman Domingo. Out next Thursday, April 16, Equilibrivm<\/em> follows 2024\u2019s Funk Generation<\/em><\/a>. In June, Shakira will resume the international tour behind her own 2024 album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran<\/em><\/a>, with a run of U.S. arena shows<\/a>, followed by 11 nights in Madrid at a pop-up stadium named in her honor.<\/p>\n
