Ella Langley<\/a> and Miranda Lambert<\/a> have caught the essence of spring and bottled it up into a breezy anthem about rebirth in their new song “Butterfly Season.”<\/p>\n Spring is a season of growth and new life. The world seems to come alive as flowers bloom, birds chirp and \u2014\u00a0you guessed it \u2014\u00a0the butterflies start spreading their wings.<\/p>\n “Butterfly Season” paints that same picture.<\/p>\n Langley starts off singing about making changes in her life and seeing a different road laid out before her. It’s quite personal as the country singer disappeared from the spotlight in August to center herself.<\/p>\n After spending time with her family and in her Bible, Langley came back with a new energy, focus and authenticity that she’s bringing to her music.<\/p>\n Back in the Saddle:<\/strong><\/em> Ella Langley Reveals Where She Went on Her Mental Health Break<\/a><\/p>\n “It’s butterfly season, I’m finding my wings \/ A good time for leaving behind the old me \/ Headed for blue skies and lavender fields \/ Don’t know where I’m landing, just know how it feels \/ When it’s time to fly,”<\/em> the two women harmonize on the chorus.<\/p>\n The uptempo track is a part of Langley’s new album Dandelion,<\/em> which arrived on Friday (April 10). Just like the title track, “Butterfly Season” represents where the country singer is in her life and career. It’s safe to say she’s in a season of personal growth and feeling more like herself than ever.<\/p>\n In fact, the album’s title alone is a flag planted in that growth.<\/p>\n “Dandelion” is a song that was originally supposed to be a part of her debut studio album, Hungover<\/em>, but she chose to hold onto it. It was a move that ended up being more poetic than she intended.<\/p>\n While making her sophomore album she learned that dandelion tea is often used to detox the liver.<\/p>\n “When I heard that, it was like a lightbulb when off over my head,” she tells Theo Von<\/a> on the This Past Weekend<\/em> podcast. “It was like, ‘Oh my God, a record called Dandelion<\/em> after a record called Hungover<\/em>.'”<\/p>\n “It’s like, you’re just growing up,” she adds.<\/p>\n Up next, Ella Langley will take her album out on The Dandelion Tour<\/a> beginning May 7.<\/p>\n Ella Langley has changed so much over the years \u2014 and it’s not just the bangs!
