Under the deal, Kebe agreed not to denigrate Cardi B, born Belcalis Alm\u00e1nzar, or her estranged husband, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/offset\/\" id=\"auto-tag_offset\" data-tag=\"offset\">Offset<\/a>, born Kiari Cephus, the new filing states. For her part, Alm\u00e1nzar agreed to delay efforts to collect the full <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/cardi-b-1-25-million-defamation-lawsuit-victory-tasha-k-1290026\/\">$3.9 million defamation judgment<\/a> she won against Kebe at trial four years ago. The agreement requires Kebe to pay $1.2 million over the first five years, <a data-id=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/cardi-b-million-dollar-repayment-plan-bankrupt-tasha-k-1235278467\/\" data-type=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/cardi-b-million-dollar-repayment-plan-bankrupt-tasha-k-1235278467\/\"><em>Rolling Stone<\/em> previously reported.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tAccording to the new motion for sanctions, Kebe started breaking the agreement shortly after it was confirmed in March. \u201cDebtor [Latasha Kebe] has engaged in a relentless course of conduct designed to target and harass Ms. Alm\u00e1nzar and her family through thinly coded references, scantily veiled commentary, and strategic provocation all while knowing that her audience of over one million social media followers will immediately and universally identify Ms. Alm\u00e1nzar as the subject,\u201d the filing made in Florida bankruptcy court claimed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe Grammy-winning rapper and her lawyers say some of the references in Kebe\u2019s social media posts involved Alm\u00e1nzar\u2019s ex-boyfriend Stefon Diggs, while others referenced her alleged rivalry with Nicki Minaj. They say Kebe and her lawyer have been warned, multiple times, but that Kebe has posted comments about Cephus multiple times over the last week, and as recently as \u201cless than an hour before [their] motion was filed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tIn a video posted <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/UNWINEWITHTASHA\/status\/2042681319692357670\">on X Friday<\/a>, Kebe let out a laugh and said, \u201cOffset works at the casino, he is down there five days a week, clocking in.\u201d She claimed that \u201che uses everybody else\u2019s money to gamble with. They\u2019ve documented more than two dozen \u201cegregious violations\u201d of the non-disparagement clause, they allege.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cDebtor still believes that she is above the law, consequences, and is invulnerable,\u201d the filing says. \u201cAnd what makes this pattern of defiance particularly egregious is not merely the violations themselves, but what debtor has openly admitted in public broadcasts. \u2026 She has made clear that she intends to resume harassment of Ms. Alm\u00e1nzar once her debt is paid off.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tKebe\u2019s lawyer, Chad Van Horn, did not immediately respond to a request for comment. In a statement to <em>Rolling Stone<\/em> last year, he called his client\u2019s bankruptcy plan a \u201cmilestone\u201d agreement. He said Kebe\u2019s unsecured creditors, not including Alm\u00e1nzar, were set to receive about 30 percent of their allowed claims.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cBy reaching this agreement, all parties can avoid prolonged litigation \u2014 fulfilling bankruptcy\u2019s essential purpose. This resolution also enables Ms.\u00a0Kebe\u00a0to focus on her work while repaying creditors in an organized manner,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tIn the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/cardi-b-std-libel-trial-begins-1282079\/\">underlying libel and defamation lawsuit<\/a>\u00a0that led to the $3.9 million defamation judgment, Alm\u00e1nzar said Kebe\u2019s \u201ccampaign of slander\u201d involved demonstrably false allegations that Alm\u00e1nzar had herpes, used cocaine, and worked as a prostitute. Taking the witness stand to plead her case, Alm\u00e1nzar testified that she suffered extreme \u201canxiety\u201d and depression after Kebe posted several YouTube videos with the false statements.
