\n\tSombr<\/a> has been eagerly waiting for months to perform \u201c12 to 12\u201d at Coachella<\/a>. \u201cThis song is gonna go crazy at Sombchella,\u201d he wrote on TikTok in October. He was right.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThe pop-rock hit appeared last on the set <\/em><\/strong>and whipped the crowd into a frenzy of propulsive jumps and the loudest cheers of the night. Sombr filled out the rest of his set with his latest single \u201cHomewrecker,\u201d which opened the performance on an electric high, and his breakthrough hits \u201cBack to Friends\u201d and \u201cUndressed.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe screens on either side of the stage didn\u2019t cut on until \u201cNever Even Dated,\u201d a roaring rock record fit for the leather and lace Sombr donned. \u201cIf you think you\u2019re too cool to jump, go to another fucking set,\u201d he said during \u201cCome Closer\u201d to set the tone for his performance early.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Smashing Pumpkins\u2019 Billy Corgan<\/a> also made his Coachella debut alongside Sombr in a special appearance during Sombr\u2019s show. The pair performed \u201cSpeed\u201d and \u201c1979\u201d with Corgan on vocals and guitars. If he needed a rock legend\u2019s cosign, this was a perfect one to get.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cYou are the reason,\u201d the stage read during \u201cBack to Friends,\u201d a song Sombr introduced as a record that changed his life. \u201cLove is the reason. Coachella is the reason.\u201d When he wrapped with \u201c12 to 12,\u201d he thought about just how much more his life can change. \u201cSee you back here when I fucking headline.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tLast month, Sombr wrapped the Late Nights & Young Romance Tour after nearly 70 shows. During the run, the artist surprised his audience with appearances from Niall Horan, Joe Jonas, Laufey, Cigarettes After Sex, Sam Smith, and more artists.<\/p>\n

\n\tEarlier this year, Sombr hit the Grammy Awards stage with a performance of \u201c12 to 12\u201d from his debut album, I Barely Know Her<\/em>. He was up for Best New Artist that night alongside fellow Coachella 2026<\/a> performers Katseye and Addison Rae, among others including the Mar\u00edas, Lola Young, and Olivia Dean.<\/p>\n
