The singer-songwriter and producer hit the Mojave stage with \u201cStateside,\u201d the record she revamped with Zara Larsson that is currently sitting at Number Eight on the Billboard Hot 100. She introduced the performance with airline-themed graphics that announced \u201cPinkPantheress has arrived.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cStateside\u201d marked the beginning of a nearly hour-long, medley-like set that spanned her biggest hits and best deep cuts. It spanned from \u201cNoises\u201d and \u201cNice to Know You\u201d to \u201cAnother Life,\u201d \u201cI Must Apologize,\u201d and \u201cPain,\u201d which echoed through the area as the thousands-deep crowd sang every word back to her. Later, PinkPantheress performed \u201cTurn Your Phone Off\u201d live for the first time, followed by \u201cAngel,\u201d for which she fittingly donned a massive pair of white angel wings.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tLarsson\u2019s <em>Midnight Sun <\/em>tour has a stop in Austin tonight, so she couldn\u2019t make it to the desert, but<strong> <\/strong>PinkPantheress didn\u2019t rave alone. Her performance featured a special DJ set from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/the-dare\/\" id=\"auto-tag_the-dare\" data-tag=\"the-dare\">the Dare<\/a>, who played his remix of Addison Rae\u2019s \u201cFame Is a Gun\u201d and Charli XCX\u2019s \u201cGuess.\u201d Later, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/thundercat\/\" id=\"auto-tag_thundercat\" data-tag=\"thundercat\">Thundercat<\/a> joined in for \u201cBreak It Off.\u201d Her collaborator DJ Joe deployed Troye Sivan\u2019s \u201cRush\u201d and her early single \u201cJust for Me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tPinkPantheress built out the narrative of her set \u2014 a raging warehouse party, a much needed night out, and a look deep inside her mind \u2014 with guests HorsegiirL and actor Tyriq Withers, who played the titular role of her song \u201cRomeo.\u201d He returned at recurring moments throughout the performance, at one point just to bask in the spotlight. His final appearance came during \u201cIllegal,\u201d which brought the triumphant performance to an end.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe past few years have seen PinkPantheress come into her power as a performer. The artist launched her career as an anonymous creator with an ear for eclectic beats, but no physical presence online.
