Towards the end of the set, as she dove into an intense performance of \u201cCellophane,\u201d the feelings broke through. Twigs was practically in tears during the song as she looked across the crowd, which stood completely captivated by her.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tIt was a particularly stunning and poignant moment of a performance that also featured a celebratory ode to West Coast ballroom culture. Honey Balenciaga and Makayla Basquiat appeared during a dance interlude introduced by actor and ballroom performer Dashaun Wesley, who declared, \u201cLets get ready to vogue in this motherfucker.\u201d By the end, Mojave felt more like an performance art exhibition than a stage in the desert.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tCoachella officially brings Twigs\u2019 U.S. tour dates to an end. The Body High tour, which recently included a stunning <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-pictures\/fka-twigs-body-high-msg-1235535413\/\">Madison Square Garden debut<\/a>, is the latest in a series of successes for the musician. Earlier this year, she took home her first Grammy Award for Best Electronic\/Dance Album for <em>Eusexua<\/em>.\u00a0The set list she performed tonight closely mirrored that of her tour, but ramped up to a higher scale on a physical level.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cGoing on tour the last month and looking out into the audience, I\u2019ve not really seen fans or people that are just kind of into my music,\u201d Twigs said at Coachella. \u201cWhat I\u2019ve seen is community. I\u2019m looking out into the crowd tonight and I see the same thing. It\u2019s about tolerance, and it\u2019s about presence, and it\u2019s about realizing that we\u2019re so much more than our vessels,\u201d she told <em>Rolling Stone<\/em> last year. \u201cWe\u2019re these beautiful lights. I always talk about the light inside my chest. I\u2019m not <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/fka-twigs\/\" id=\"auto-tag_fka-twigs\" data-tag=\"fka-twigs\">FKA Twigs<\/a>.
