\n\tLil Jon<\/a> has written a new memoir, which will be published this fall and boasts the exceptional title, I Only Shout So You Can Hear Me<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tThe book will find the hit-making King of Crunk and master ad-libber offering an expansive look at his life and career. To give a sense of that scope, People<\/a><\/em> notes that the book begins not with Lil Jon<\/a>\u2019s own birth, but the birth of his mother in Alabama.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI\u2019ve worked on a lot of different projects over the years, but this one right here made me dig deep and turn inward,\u201d Lil Jon said in a statement. \u201cY\u2019all have heard my voice for over three decades, but here\u2019s a chance to read what I really have to say about it all, and catch a glimpse into the innermost circles of both my professional and personal worlds.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tAccording to a page for the book on the Simon & Schuster website<\/a>, I Only Shout<\/em> will find Lil Jon reflecting on his early exposure to music, as well as his rise in, and role shaping, the Atlanta hip-hop scene of the late-Nineties and early-2000s. He\u2019ll offer recollections of creating countless hit records like \u201cGet Low\u201d and \u201cYeah!\u201d,<\/a> as well as working with artists like Ice Cube, Usher, Ciara, Pitbull, and more.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tLil Jon is also expected to explore more personal topics, including some unspecified, but reportedly \u201cshocking\u201d family revelations. He\u2019ll also write about the recent death<\/a> of his son<\/a>, Nathan Smith, and his relationship with meditation<\/a>, mindfulness, and Islam.\u00a0<\/p>\n
