Oasis<\/a> is among the inductees<\/a> for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame<\/a>\u2019s 2026 class, and Liam Gallagher<\/a> seems excited to discuss the news.<\/p>\n After this year\u2019s Hall of Fame honorees were announced, the Oasis singer proceeded to go on a tweet-storm<\/a>, interacting with many of his followers.<\/p>\n In his first message, Liam declared that there were \u201cReverse psychology vibes in the area,\u201d alluding to the criticisms he and his brother, Noel, had made regarding the Hall in the past. He then proceeded to individually thank many of the fans who claimed they voted for Oasis \u2013 even though just weeks ago he\u2019d said “I\u2019d like to thank all the people who HAVEN\u2019T voted for us from the bottom of my HEART.\u201d<\/p>\n Elsewhere in his conversations with fans, the frontman said he was \u201cthrilled to bits\u201d about the Hall of Fame induction and even joked about having to pay for the accolade. When a fan asked if he and Noel would be attending the ceremony, Liam replied: \u201cWe\u2019re both going we\u2019re soooooo proud and humble.\u201d<\/p>\n READ MORE: The Best Songs From Every Oasis Album<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cI wanna thank all the people who voted for us it\u2019s a real honour,\u201d Liam wrote on a later post. \u201cEver since I was a little kid and singing in the shower I\u2019d dream about 1 day being in the RnR hall of fame it\u2019s true what they say anything is possible if you have a dream.\u201d<\/p>\n While there\u2019s certainly some cheekiness to Liam\u2019s messages \u2013 the Hall of Fame didn\u2019t even exist when he was a kid \u2013 his tone certainly suggests that Oasis will take part in the ceremony taking place Nov. 14 in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n At time of writing, Noel Gallagher was yet to comment on the band\u2019s induction.<\/p>\n Both of the Gallaghers have previously bristled with the Hall of Fame, questioning the organization’s merit and purpose. Liam once claimed the Hall was “full of wankers,” later adding: “I don\u2019t want to be part of anything that mentally disturbed. Besides, I\u2019ve done more for rock n\u2019 roll than half of them clowns on that board.\u201d Similarly, Noel has rejected the suggestion that he’d participate in the ceremony if Oasis ever got inducted.<\/p>\n Oasis was previously nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2024 and 2025.
