The month will also see the <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/who\/\">Who<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/eagles\/\">Eagles<\/a> taking important looks back.<\/p>\n<p>McCartney&#8217;s 27th studio album, <em>The Boys of Dungeon Lane<\/em>, references a winding road near his childhood home that delivered the youngster to the banks of the Mersey River. This new Andrew Watt-produced LP is the first since 2020&#8217;s international Top 5 hit <em><a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/paul-mccartney-mccartney-iii-album-review\/\">McCartney III<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, <em>Carry the Light<\/em> goes even deeper as Frampton&#8217;s first all-new album of original material in more than 15 years. It&#8217;s a guest-packed affair with appearances by <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/graham-nash\/\">Graham Nash<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/sheryl-crow\/\">Sheryl Crow<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/tom-morello\/\">Tom Morello<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/benmont-tench\/\">Benmont Tench<\/a>, among others. <\/p>\n<h3>Who&#8217;s Issuing New Rock Records in May 2026?<\/h3>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/black-keys\/\">Black Keys<\/a>&#8216; <em>Peaches!<\/em> is the first LP mixed solely by the band since 2006&#8217;s <em>Magic Potion<\/em>. Frontman <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/dan-auerbach\/\">Dan Auerbach<\/a> has called this the &#8220;most natural record&#8221; since their 2002 debut, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/black-keys-the-big-come-up\/\">The Big Come Up<\/a><\/em>. <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/geoff-tate\/\">Geoff Tate<\/a> has been out of <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/queensryche\/\">Queensryche<\/a> since <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/geoff-tate-2012-interview\/\">back in 2012<\/a> \u2013 but the narrative from one of their best-known albums was still on his mind.
