\n\tKacey Musgraves<\/a> has officially been added to the lineup for the second week of Coachella 2026<\/a>, her first time back to the desert fest since her 2019 performance. The country star is scheduled to perform on Saturday at the Mojave Tent from 3-3:50 p.m. <\/p>\n \n\tThe singer-songwriter teased her surprise performance on social media earlier in the day. In a playful Instagram video<\/a> set to her Middle of Nowhere<\/em> title track, Musgraves captioned, \u201cSomewhere on the way to \u2605 \ud835\udc6a\ud835\udc90\ud835\udc82\ud835\udc84\ud835\udc89\ud835\udc86\ud835\udc8d\ud835\udc8d\ud835\udc82 \u2605.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tMusgraves\u2019 upcoming seventh studio album is set to release on May 1 via Lost Highway Records. The 13-song track list features collaborations with\u00a0Willie Nelson<\/a>,\u00a0Miranda Lambert<\/a>,\u00a0Billy Strings<\/a>, and\u00a0Gregory Alan Isakov<\/a>. She released its first single, \u201cDry Spell<\/a>,\u201d last month. \u201cThe bulk of this record was made during the longest single period of my life\u201d, Musgraves said in a previous statement. \u201cI found that for the first time, it actually felt incredible being alone and existing in a space not defined by anyone else. I became fascinated with the concept of liminal space, both geographical and emotional. We don\u2019t linger in these transitional, empty spaces long enough and rush to define where or whatever is next.\u201d<\/p>\n
